After much working back and forth with various schedules, we finally set our mini camp for Saturday the 22nd --- As you know, this was to be our WEB workday. We will push the workday back to September 29, same time, 8am till noon. This is a mandatory workday, but if your player or someone from your family absolutely cannot make it on that Saturday, we will work with you. Please just let me know ahead of time so that we can plan accordingly.

The camp will be held from 8:30am-1:00pm at Weatherford College Gym.
Whether you are new to the game or have played for years, you will benefit from the time. The fee is $15 per participant
Bring: court shoes, appropriate size ball, water bottles. A light snack will be furnished.

Thanks so much for all of your support during this year of transition. Our teams are all shaping up nicely and we are looking forward to a great year of basketball. Thanks so much for all the parents who are volunteering in various jobs, this organization CAN NOT survive without participating parents. You are MUCH appreciated!!!

ATTENTION all Weatherford Express players: Saturday September 22, 8am to noon (unless we finish earlier) we are having a mandatory work day, players (or a representative) must be present at the Harmony Gym

. It is a simple way to thank Harmony Baptist Church for the use of their facilities.
Please don't let your team down!

Also we have now filled the position for Bookkeeper!

Well, we are starting a new season of Weatherford Express Basketball and our organization is making some changes. Coach Craig Verwers is retiring as Varsity Boys Head Coach and Mrs. Debbie Verwers is retiring as Athletic Director. They have served for over 10 years and we are very grateful for their contributions. Please join us in praying for volunteers to fulfill these and other essential positions.

One of these positions is an official Bookkeeper. This person would not be a member of the Board, and would not write checks, but would balance the organization's check book. If you have a talent for keeping other people's money in good order..... we need you!!! Your WEB Board is looking forward to a great new season of basketball. Our prayer is that this will be an organization that plays good, clean, competitive basketball while letting the Lord's light shine through it's members and players.

Registration for this season will be on August 11, 2007, at 10 am at Harmony Gym. Team practices will begin the first week after Labor Day. Exact dates for individual teams will be forthcoming.
